A soldier's concern

 Once there was a kingdom ruled by a certain king. He had a brave soldier called Manu. 

The king was very proud of Manu and thus said to people “I have a brave soldier in my kingdom. Whenever he goes to war only our kingdom wins the war”. Hearing this all the citizens were excited to see him. Very few people had seen him. Thieves were frightened just by listening to Manu’s name.One day the king called  Manu and said “Manu, I am very proud of you. I desire to fulfill your wish. Let me know your wish". Manu said “My Lord, there is a certain village named Sarayu. There people are suffering from drought. They don’t have money to get sufficient food. I want you to help the people in Sarayu village". The king said “Manu, I appreciate your concern for others. You did not ask anything for yourself instead you asked for the village people! I am very proud of you. From now on, you are not just a soldier, I am appointing you as my minister”

The king rewarded him with ten thousand gold coins.

Moral: Whenever you ask anything for others it will always come back to you.
